Before the birth of The Dental Project, we were running out of a little 2 chair practice – Birkdale Fair Dental, which Dr Meltine Purwo had bought back in 2005. Together, we looked at creating a dental practice in which patients could expect reliable and honest dentistry. In 2011, an opportunity to expand arose in the nearby area of Wellington Point, and so Allenby Road Dental was born. After four years of significant growth in our team and patients, Dr Mel took on Dr Viet Le as a business partner – thus resulting in the establishment of The Dental Project.
Since 2015, we have continued to build a team of individuals whose main aim is to provide dentistry to the highest standard, whilst relying on the solid foundation of honesty and respect; with both patients and staff. In 2017 we made the decision to move into one larger premise at Wellington Point, as it fostered a stronger connection amongst the team and better care and service for our patients.
We are on a mission to change the way everyone views dentistry. From the time spent discussing your options, to judgement free approach we use and the way we ensure you have an active participation in every aspect of your treatment with us, is on purpose.
On a broader scale we are looking to strengthen our ties to B1G1. We believe in putting our money where our mouth is, and nothing says using business for good like letting you choose where our donations go each month.
Why? Because we’re wanting to humanise dentistry. Your experience of visiting the dentist matters. We want to make it as human, compassionate and refreshing as we can.
