Vinessa graduated with honours from the University of Queensland in 2017, where she was awarded the Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence and the Colgate-UQ Undergraduate Research Prize. Since then, she has gained a wealth of experience practising across clinics in NSW and Queensland.
Vinessa particularly enjoys working with her patients to create healthy and beautiful smiles and is passionate about providing the highest level of care to every one of her patients. She helps her patients feel completely at ease and is passionate about empowering her patients to overcome their dental fears.
In her spare time, Vinessa can be found curled up with a good book, spending time with family and friends and trying out new recipes.
Vinessa is beginning to rival our long term sweet treat makers for TDP’s best baker. She will routinely provide us with cheesecakes and a plethora of goodies from her home kitchen. We are keen to see the outcome of this challenge.
1. What is your favourite smell?
The smell of freshly baked bread, especially in my own kitchen.
2. What did you want to be when you were younger?
I’ve always wanted to be a dentist- the earliest record of this dates back to when I was in preschool!
3. What would you like to eat for your last meal?
A nice big platter of sushi.
4. How do you feel about pineapple and pizza?
Love it! I’d never say no to pineapple on pizza.
5. What is your favourite book?
Atomic Habits by James Clear.
